Financial Specialist/analyst (Irvine, CA)
Job Description:
Honghai Realty Services Inc. intends to expand its business in the next few years and therefore is in demand for the professional service of a Financial Specialist. The proposed position will be responsible for the following duties:
· Consolidate and analyze financial data (budgets, income statement, etc.) to produce insights for property sales, expenses and revenue;
· Perform financial and valuation analysis of new landscaping and renovation projects to meet the market demand, and develop project trends and performance forecasts
· Maintain complete and accurate project financial records in accordance with GAAP, provide timely project information to support revenue recognition on a percentage completion basis, and develop payment schedules to maintain positive project cash flow;
· Research the real estate industry and market trend related to the financial performance of landscaping and remodeling projects and new investment projects;
· Keep updated and forecast market trend by studying past data and analyzing historical and current financial information under different economic environments;
· Deliver comprehensive market analysis information to assist company management in making investment decision by summarizing large groups of data;
· Assist the management team in making budget planning and cost control in alignment with the company’s strategic plan, and provide creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance;
· Work closely with other teams to identify and implement strategies to maximize financial performance of the company.
Minimum Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Economics or a related field required.
· Master’s degree in Finance, Business Management, or a related field preferred;
· Strong understanding of financial reporting, and financial analysis;
· Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office;
· Highly detail-oriented and organized in work;
· Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills;
· Highly-motivated team player with the ability to handle multi-tasks within deadlines.
