Financial Analyst (Irvine, CA)
Job Description:
Honghai Realty Services Inc. intends to expand its business in the next few years and therefore is in demand for the professional service of a Financial Analyst. The proposed position will be responsible for the following duties:
· Utilize financial information and data to create and establish economic models that require a command of probability models, statistics, and simulation programming to provide directional proposals on business policy changes;
· Use financial programming tools to construct recurring financial reports and optimize the updating process for better efficiency and accuracy;
· Interpret and analyze quantitative financial data on market prices, elasticity, stability, market trends, and other economic factors that affect business expansion decision-making;
· Monitor revenue and simple profit margins weekly and monthly and prepare financial reports; consolidate sourcing budget and cash flow for pricing strategies of different lines of business;
· Assist in risk management through review and analysis of feasibility studies, company’s financial controls, and financial market trends;
· Maintain, update, and implement company databases that effectively identify and highlight key business, financial, and operational metrics;
· Process large amounts of data from internal and industry databases to project future budget and resource allocation; use graphical analysis tools and software to conclude the management;
· Perform price studies in the market and develop statistical models to help in designing pricing strategies that utilize forecasting and projecting price increases and decreases;
· Help in identifying and defining new target markets and demographic groups for our real estate development projects, and predict the return on investment if the company succeeds in absorbing new clients from these markets;
· Draft comprehensive written reports, supported by graphs, charts, and tables, summarizing findings and analysis;
· Participate in company meetings and provide constructive feedback on business ideas.
Minimum Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Economics,or related field. Master's degree in Finance, Business Management, or related field preferred;
· Master’s degree in Finance, Business Management, or a related field preferred;
· Strong understanding of financial reporting, and financial analysis;
· Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office;
· Highly detail-oriented and organized in work;
· Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills;
· Highly-motivated team player with the ability to handle multi-tasks within deadlines.
